Direct Security Services, was founded as a company in February 1998 in Overland Park, Kansas. The Owners: Steve Dockery and Gary Tidball both equal in ownership and responsibility for Direct Security Services growth, longevity and continued success. Steve Dockery came to the partnership from a background that included years in Direct Marketing for Rainsoft, National Cable Network, Primestar and Dish Network. Gary Tidball came to the partnership with a background in relationship Sales with a local company called The Wood Works along with a nearly 9 years of management experience with Margarita’s Restaurants as their Director of Operations. With Steve’s Direct Sales experience and Gary’s Organizational experience, Direct Security Services has flourished.
           

In April of 1998, Direct Security Services forged its legacy when it became an Authorized Dealer for ADT Security Services, the world’s largest security company. Direct Security Services has ranked in the top 20 of all ADT dealers (of 500 to 600 perpetually) each and every year of existence. Direct Security Services has on 5 different occasions been asked to participate as part of ADT’s elite Dealer Advisory Board which is now simply known as the President’s Club; where the input of dealers has positively, year after year guided the Authorized Dealer Program to perpetual success even as similar Dealer Programs have come and gone.
           

Direct Security Services currently operates its Corporate Headquarters in Roeland Park, Kansas and Branch offices in St. Louis, MO; Omaha, Nebraska; Chicago, Illinois and Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. From those locations we are able to be of service to customers in the following cities: Wichita, Topeka, Lawrence, Manhattan, Salina and towns in between in Kansas; Columbia, Jefferson City, Joplin, Springfield, Rolla and most other towns in Missouri; Tulsa, Oklahoma; Lincoln, Nebraska; Springfield, Decatur, Peoria, Rockford, Champainge and all other towns between St.Louis and Chicago. Aside from the nationally known companies, Direct Security is the largest security provider in the midwest. It has always been our desire to continually expand, that is why between now and the end of 2010, Direct Security Services will cover Arkansas, Iowa and Wisconsin within its footprint of service.
           

Today, Direct Security Services provides Security and Intrusion services to both residential and commercial clients, Surveillance equipment to both residential and commercial clients and Access Control equipment to commercial clients. At Direct Security, there is no customer Too Small or Too Big for us to Service.
